An AI English coach for Chin speakers

SpeakItUp

Reading English is one thing. Being understood when you say it is another.

SpeakItUp listens to you say a sentence and tells you which word let you down — not a vague score, the actual word. Then you say it again. That loop is the whole product.

The loop

Six steps, over and over, until it sticks.

01

Read it in Falam

The meaning first, in your own language.

02

Hear it once

One fixed English voice, so the target never moves.

03

Say it

Speak the sentence; the app listens.

04

Get scored

An overall band, plus every word marked.

05

Fix the weak word

Not the sentence — the one word failing you.

06

Try again

Until it lands, then on to the next.

Where it is today

Built end to end, not yet released.

The lesson pipeline, the scoring API, the admin console and the mobile client all exist and run together. Scoring uses a pronunciation engine we host ourselves rather than a third-party service. It has not been released to the stores yet — when it is, the links will be here.

Nobody keeps a recording of you practising.

Your attempt is scored and then it is gone — what the server keeps is the result: the band, and which words came out weak. There is no account, the scoring engine is ours rather than somebody else's, and learning to speak should not cost you a recording of every mistake on the way.

  • What the score said, and what you think it should have said.
  • Whether the problem was the microphone, the score, or the audio you were asked to copy.
